PowerPoint 2000
PowerPoint is a presentation tool, a programme originally meant to create overheads that would be projected onto a screen. Nowadays the presentations tend to be presented as screenshows directly from the computer to a screen. This gives the lecturer or presenter the additional advantage of being able to add special effects to the presentation. But it is important to bear in mind that each overhead, in PowerPoint called a Slide, is an individual picture. Each page or slide has to contain the total amount of information you want to share with your audience, when speaking about that particular slide. - If the text is too long for the slide, PowerPoint does not automatically give you a page-break that allows you to continue on the next page
